Equal Rights Association, digital meme campaign

After all of the grass-roots awareness efforts in recent years, from the confederate flag to same sex marriage to the ice bucket challenge, raising awareness about the long-lost ERA seemed, like a huge oversight. We did an instagram meme campaign by taking familiar things and altered them highlighting that there's lots of things we've accomplished, things we take for granted - but there's one glaring thing we've left out: equal rights. This campaign went on to win one of Fast Companies World Changing ideas in 2017 as one of the first collaborative memes.
